How to rent an army tank?
So I am going to the biggest prom in the nation (Pennsbury) and they have a parade every year. Groups of people either make floats or pull up in a cool vehicle. This year the theme is games so my boyfriend and i wanted to pull up on an army tank and represent call of duty modern warfare (which every guy is obsessed with). do you think there is any way someone would drive us through the parade or if we could rent one? any opinions would help! thanks so much
i never said it was ‘cool’. it went with a theme and it was unique from what everyone else is doing. please don’t judge. i thought it’d be unique to pull up in any camouflage vehicle not necessarily a TANK with guns etc….

As John Wayne would say , " Not likely pilgrim ".
GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!!!!!
You can Buy a tank here; http://www.milweb.net/home.php they have lots of tanks for sale.
Well, ‘renting’ a tank isn’t as simple as walking into your local Rent-A-Tank office and taking one from the lot. However, I found this site called Tank Limo.com (http://tanklimo.com) where you can rent a replica tank. It is based in the UK, though, and would probably be very expensive.
Hope this helped!
(I have not researched this site and I do not know if it is bogus or anything, so please don’t blame me if it is.)
How can I break this to your gently?
ALmost no one EVEN if they had a tank as you describe would let a teenage kid drive a tank.
Tanks are extraorinarily expensive and cannot be readily driven around. When they move longer distances, they must be put of a trailer.
I recommend you set your sites a little lower on something else. Maybe a float dressed up as a tank in the parade, perhaps?
Best wishes
*insert female driver joke here*
Try militaryvehicles.com.
i think your idea is silly and unrealistic. there is nothing cool about tanks and guns. I’ve been in Iraq for 5years in the war and I don’t want to see a tank anymore!
well if you want a REAL tank you special premision from the army, but just at toy tank you can just go to the dollar store.
hi there, my daughter is in army cadets and has her prom coming p this year,,,, we preliminary booked her a twin squirrel helicopter but then decided on a ww2 m3 german tank!! its a replica and its one lovely looking tank!, it will come from kent on a low loader i think, its a mate of her sergeant at the detatchment she attends, theres a limo tank site online bt is between £1600 and £4000 i think to hire…. good luck, i dont think your idea is unrealist at all, i think its a fab idea and youl be the most talked about guest ever
