Question by united5: Are there any organizations that give loans to military personnel?
I'm a Pv2 in the Army. I've been in for 6 months and am getting ready to finish up AIT. I am interested in buying a truck after I graduate but my bank won't give me a loan because I won't be living in the area. Does anybody know of any military personnel specific finance organizations that give out loans to soldiers and are legit?

You should always try the Credit Union on base of where you're stationed. Also USAA now has programs. One of the best sources for military personnel is Clark Howard's Military Guide. Link below.
