In the German Bundeswehr there are vehicles provided by a government-held company to use them for "civilian" transport for the Forces. Silver, white or black painted and partly of French origin.
I have 3000 points of imperial guard 2034 of which are tanks (4 leman russ variants, 5 basilisks) and only 300 infantry (2 veteran squads) and a couple of heavy weapons aswell as fast attack and chimera tanks. I am uncertain of what to get for under £60.
Forgot to add "I currently have one baneblade, sentinals and a storm trooper squad"
So I'm joining the Army National Guard in a few weeks with my MOS being 88M (Motor vehicle transporter) I'm only doing it because there is a ,000 signing bonus for that MOS. I asked online if that specific MOS when your driving if you still get a rifle. They said that you do get a gun but I always see the person driving not having anything... I guess my question is if anyone knows what specific rifle I will get or if I will just have a side arm. They said that I can change my MOS if I want later in my career which I want to do Special Forces as a Weapons Sergeant. I want to do 88M for maybe a year or so while I train for the Special Forces Qualification course. I know that less then 20% make it through and can actually call themselves Green Berets at the end. I would like to know if anyone has some suggestions onto how and what I should do to train for Special Forces besides physical fitness.
Yes I'm sure there is a SF unit in my state. Also I would like to know how much more often are the Nation Guard SF deployed???

I'm done with high gas prices and would like to purchase an electric car. Even though Canada produces low-speed vehicles, the government says they are not safe for our roads and therefore even though they are made here in Canada, I cannot purchase one. Perhaps our roads should be converted to support these vehicles; encouraging Canadians to go green. I think Canadians want these cars. Would you be in favour of converting our highway lanes / streets / roadways to support the low-speed electric cars?
how are the cars treat treated in military storage? i was told by my brother that the cars are started and run everyday for 5 minutes and washed every week? I'm wondering because the car will be given to me as a gift. it's been sitting for 7 years.

I can't decide. I'm enlisting in the Army when I turn 17 in June. My parents already said they'd sign for me. Can anyone who has been in the army give me some details on which one would be better? I'm joining the army because I'm a high school dropout and I don't want to get 15 college credits to enlist in the other branches of the military.
BTW for those of you who don't know a UAV is an Unmanned aerial vehicle

Why is it the Government can tell me how safe I need to be in my own vehicle(seatbelt law)? Yet some states do not even have helmet laws for motorcyclist.
My husband recently joined the Army, and will be leaving for basic training in October. his "contract" is 3 years, 28 weeks. He is going in as a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic.
What are his chances of deployment? Has anyone else had this job, or had a spouse who had it? How did they like it?

It must be an early vote on this Great Bailout in the U.S. Congress triggering this kind of preparation. They fear violent demonstratons against the Great Bailout vote schedule in the U.S. Senate. I guess Obama and McCain have to be inside. Guess they call it security. Looks like an Army filtering in. Somebody could really get hurt. The unintended consequence might spead like wildfire in the nation.
Why won't the secret government allow electric vehicles to come into existance? Is it because the development of abundant and portable energy would lead to the overuse and misuse of death ray like devices and counterproductively affect human development?

I am in the Army and am stationed in Germany. I am being sent to FT. Hood and I am visiting family in Wisconsin before I head there. I need to purchase a vehicle up there and I was wondering if I purchased a brand new vehicle, would it be safe to drive down to Texas?
I was cited for a parking violation by the municipal government of DC, given a 0 fine, and the car was towed to a parking lot near where I parked. The tow truck was operated by the municipal government. If I don't pay, how difficult will it be to trace this back to me? Am I correct in understanding that for this to come back to me, someone would have to drive that car to DC and get into some sort of predicament where the vehicle's plates were run by law enforcement?
South Africa reportedly has the best armored vehicles and has for about 20 years.
Maybe the military industrial complex enjoys allowing vehicles to be destroyed so they can build more. Money talks logic walks.
Oh and of course troops die when the vehicles are blown up. Don't forget that. The congress and the commander in chief would never put troops purposely in harms way.

I am wondering why old military vehicles of previous wars had decals on them showing that they were u.s. army property such as the star and the star with the circle around it and they were green, while todays military vehicles dont have this at all and there really isnt an obvious way to tell there american since they are one solid color, and even then some vehicles have different solid colors on them. here is an example:

Being that there are about 150 different jobs in the Army, does every job have the possibilty of going into combat. Like I know that Infantry and Vehicle Operators obviously go into combat, but do Chefs or Counselors or any desk jobs go into combat?

I live in a province where tax is charged on used vehicles, and collected by the government upon registering the vehicle. If a vehicle is bought and resold without being used or registered, will the seller be billed for taxes when the next owner registers the vehicle and the seller's information is given? Or can it be resold without taxes being charged or collected as long as it hasn't been registered? BIG THANKS!
I have a question guys. If 100 U.S. Army soldiers armed with their full automatic M4 rifles (using only iron sights) that shoot .223/5.56mm bullets went to battle against 100 American hunters armed with only bolt-action 30-06 rifles with 1000 meter scopes, who would win?
More Battlefield Details: The battlefield is 1 kilometer wide and takes place in pine forest covered hilly terrain. Both sides can only use their rifles, there is no air support for the US soldiers on this one, no army tanks, and no grenade launchers, just their M4's and 30-06 bolt actions and themselves only. Both sides are wearing camouflage and have plenty of ammo. Remember one thing, an important factor, the US Army soldiers have full automatic M4 rifles but can only use their iron sights in this battle, the American hunters may have 30-06 bolt action rifles but they have 1000 meter scopes.
Another Detail: Both sides are approaching each other into battle from 1 km away.
