I am looking for a new project off road vehicle as I just sold my fixed up truck. I remember a few months ago I was looking at a list, I thought it was on wikipedia, but I cant find it. Anyway, this list was full of names of different civilian and military 4x4 or off road vehicles.
The reason I am asking for a list of civilian and military vehicles, is because I am looking to work on something fairly unique and more on the rare side and I need a list to do the research to find out what I will decide on.

I guess I should specify, I am more looking for models of vehicles that are no longer made. For example, the old Jeep CJ-6 or the International Scout.

I'm currently at Fort Hood & the MPs around here are rather strict when it comes to the traffic around here....but here's my question:
Why is it that they tend to pullover POVs but they never pullover military vehicles? I seen PLENTY of Military Vehicles with all kinds of violations while driving on post(not just this post but at Fort bliss as well). I seen them not stop at STOP signs, broken tail lights, incorrect placards attached the to vehicles, not signaling(turn signal) at all, Chop blocks being dragged from the vehicles, etc.
But if someone was in a POV and did the violations above..they would get pulled-over in a second.
I'm not trying to be no MP or nothing..I'm just wondering why they hardly(or never) pullover military vehicles.

Once joining the AF Reserves, does the reserves provide a transit van or bus to and from your home. The nearest AF Base to my home is in San Antonio. I don't have reliable vehicle. I know the Army provides that transportation for their reserves. If anyone can respond without an answer like "talk to a recruiter" it would be nice. thanks

I do my best. Everytime I see a family "OR" a young man with a decal that says "I support the troops" on his/their vehicle I engage this person in a nice conversation. I shake hands, say thank you and then I say "My friend is a recruiter for the military so lets go down and get you into a military uniform. It goes south from that point. They look as if they are drinking lemon juice. Strong lemon juice. I'm just trying to help the war supporters and trying to help our wonderful leader President Bush. Why do they (People with support decals) scrunch their faces when I request they join?
